Tè-mí-tá-yò is a Yoruba name that means ‘I deserve joy’. It is a prayer for me, and for you.
All my life I have worked with words. That is all I know how to do. It is my gift to the world—a gift I have shared with individuals and organisations as a writer, editor and writing coach.
With this gift, I have travelled around the world, attended workshops with other writers; read my essays to international audiences; championed authors’ books for top literary awards; and consulted for brands from the comfort of my room.
Now based in Birmingham, I continue to use my gift to bring out stories in people, help them attract more readers, convey ideas that help brands achieve their goals, and provide guidance for emerging talents to soar like me.
